This guide will summarise as well as identify the key points people easily miss out when planning to obtain a Victorian car drivers’ licence. This guide covers everyone for example, going for probationary licence p1 also known as Red-P (if your age is below 21, you are in this category and you need to complete 120 hours of supervised driving practice), p2 also known as Green-P (if you are 21 or over), open Full licence if you had a licence in the past from either from interstate or Overseas (additional requirements may apply, to be advised by VicRoads)!
First lets have a look at the 3 exams you need to complete in order to get the licence!
If you are not under 21 years old, log-book is optional for you! However, the more you practice the more you learn and easier to pass the drive test! Please note: even if you are under 21 years old, the 120 hours driving practice doesn't has to be with an Instructor! We strongly recommend everyone to start learning to drive with our top instructor and then get your driving assessed by the instructor before going for actual licence test!

Please note: If you are going to get a full licence because of overseas conversion, we recommend you to use our dual control automatic car for the lessons and drive test. After passing the drive test, you will be allowed to drive both automatic and manual car as full licence does not have any restriction on car transmission.
